Leadership

Leaders are those people who ‘walk ahead,’ people who are genuinely committed to deep change in themselves and in their organizations.

Peter Senge, The Fifth Discipline

We are part of the community that believes leaders are made, not born. Thus, our leadership development processes were designed to identify and activate the leadership potential in people, so that their "passion for the promises of life" is realized. Each process is an insightful journey and participants will recognize and creatively embrace new opportunities for themselves, their company and their community.

We offer three (3) distinct leadership processes:

We are very confident that one of these development processes will serve you well.

Leadership Dynamics

Becoming a leader isn’t easy. But learning to lead is easier than we think, because the capacity to lead rests within all of us. It simply needs to be developed. This understanding is consistent with the widely held view that leaders are made, not born, and decries the thought that someone can be a natural-born leader. Leadership ability produces valuable and exciting benefits for every individual and the organizations they serve, no matter where that person is in the organization.

Developing the capacity to lead is now possible through a well-designed process – Leadership Dynamics. Leadership Dynamics provides knowledge, important insight, and the tools necessary to create balance, teamwork, and commitment. You will become energized in pursuit of your personal and professional goals, and establish a more refined vision for your life and work. You will become better prepared to meet new challenges, and seize new opportunities.

Our Method

Accomplished leaders are often described as original, "his/her own person," innovative, and visionary. Therefore, our process is designed to facilitate efforts to develop greater leadership strength, while encouraging creative thought and free expression within a supportive environment.

We create meaningful and measurable results for both the individual and the organization. The process format is specially designed for maximum flexibility and effectiveness.

The Difference

You probably have a substantial investment in training and education for yourself and people within your organization. However, here is what may have happened in the past:

The training class required 1-5 days away from your normal responsibilities. When you returned from the training, your email, voicemail, and IN basket were loaded! The training manuals go on your shelf, the certificate goes on your wall or in a file drawer, and you go back to work under pressure to catch up. Your experience tells you how to resolve this situation, and your habits of thought overwhelm the new information. The new "soft skills" are considered philosophical and even interesting, but not very relevant to your daily activities. However, you’re at least familiar with the new buzzwords. Sound familiar?

Here’s how we make the difference. We unlock the great potential and generate significant returns on prior investments in training. While training – teaching a new skill – is an element of Leadership Dynamics, the important difference is that our development process helps people more effectively use the knowledge and skills they already possess. Thus, organizations and individuals both benefit greatly.

Rising Stars

For the first time in the history of this country, young people are less healthy and less prepared to take their places in society than their parents. Moreover, this is happening at a time when our society is more complex, more challenging, and more competitive than ever before.

Educators, parents, government officials, and business people have all realized the importance of helping our youth develop their personal leadership skills. According to a recent research report, Workforce 2020: Work & Workers in the 21st Century, Carol D’Amico found that employers listed leadership as one of the essential skills that entry-level employees lacked. Leadership skills were ranked ahead of writing, math, and reading.

The Rising Stars Program is an innovative and unique inside-out development process that focuses on three critical elements that promote personal leadership, healthy behavior, and the skills employers identify as essential. These elements are: positive attitudes, strong interpersonal skills, and disciplined goal achievement skills.

The Rising Stars Program has been field tested in the following youth environments:

Synergy Dynamics supports the belief that if our society would invest more in the positive things young people need, then we could expect greater results, as young people become healthy, contributing members of families, communities, workplaces, and society.

The Rising Stars Program – a life process, preparing students for a future of success and excellence.
